The agricultural project will provide the framework for Liberity Agriculture. The project will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of the buildings necessary for the program itself to function. The agricultural project will also be in charge of leasing farmland to the agricultural school’s students as well as the graduated farmers associated with Liberity Agriculture. Thus the agricultural project will provide the students as well as graduated farmers with an opportunity to earn money for themselves, their families and their schooling. By 2008/09 the agricultural project plans to establish a health clinic. The clinic will assist in combating HIV/AIDS, malaria, reduce child mortality and improve maternal health, as well as meet local health needs in general. The clinic will ensure that students, farmers and their families will have access to affordable medical care, if and when needed. By 2020 the agricultural project should be economically profitable and should be able to begin to repay its investors. For more information on the agricultural project, click here.
